Fast and Reliable
Floor Solutions
Our engineered floor joists are the easiest, quickest solution to floor installations. Using either our Masonite® I Joist or MiTek ® Posi-Joist products, all joists are precision-cut to size and delivered with clear plans, fixing instructions and associated metalwork.
Unsurprisingly, pre-engineered floor joists have become the go-to flooring solution on all types of construction sites. These joists deliver significant savings both in terms of joinery and project overheads.
Our Masonite ® I-beam/ I Joists are engineered wood products that boast impressive strength in relation to their size and weight. I-Joists feature a central OSB web between solid top and bottom flanges. This construction makes these floor joists resist bending and provide outstanding shear resistance.
As an alternative, we also offer MiTek® Posi-Joist solutions. MiTek® Posi-Joist combines the lightness of timber with the strength of the Posi-Strut steel web to produce a floor and roof system that can span far greater distances than would be possible with traditional timber products. But the main advantage of Posi-Joist solutions is that they give easy access for the installation and maintenance of services in the floor zone, this avoiding drilling and speeding up first fix.
The advantages of using spandrel panels include
Quick and easy installation
Capability of spanning longer distances
Possibility to achieve more complex designs very efficiently
A flexible, practical and fully engineered solution to your flooring requirements
High levels of precision timber engineering to improve construction accuracy and build specification
Full calculations with every product to help satisfy building control and reduce your structural engineering requirements
Reduction in site waste, loss and pilferage of valuable materials
All of our factory engineered flooring solutions are supplied with
Joist layout drawings
Engineering calculations and material details to be provided post-delivery
Site drawing packs
Plot-specific packaging delivered to the site programme
Excellent communication with our delivery team and site agent
All associated metalwork
Building Control Calculations are provided 2-3 weeks after delivery
I-Beams / I-Joists
An engineered wood joist, more commonly known as an I-joist or I-beam, is a product designed to eliminate problems that occur with conventional wood joists
Metal Web Easi Joists
Easi-joist metal web solutions differ from I-beams as they use a metal web structure between solid top and bottom flanges, the open spaces in the structure save time for other trades as they first fix electrical and plumbing etc.
Floor Cassettes
Pre engineered floor cassettes can incorporate either our timber I-Beam or our Easi-Joists® systems. Decking material (OSB boarding, Plywood or Chipboard) is then added to create complete manufactured cassettes to build the floor with.
